VP of Marketing

Ted Seward is GrowPath’s Vice President of Marketing, joining its executive leadership team in 2019. He brings decades of experience in marketing strategy and go-to-market services for software companies, especially in the healthcare and technology industries. He is well-known for his successful track record of driving industry leadership, building collaborative teams, and generating revenue.

Over recent years, Ted founded and was president of 4 Action Marketing, where he served as senior marketing leadership for various startups and companies that were seeking re-alignment on both short and long-term assignments. Ted’s experience also includes working for LexisNexis, where he was a Senior Brand Manager of InterAction, a CRM solution for Large Law. In addition, he has held leadership roles at ResponsePoint as Director of Marketing and Business Development, BOWE BELL+HOWELL as Director of Marketing, and BCC Software as VP of Marketing.

Ted is responsible for all marketing initiatives at GrowPath, including marketing/sales strategy, brand awareness, lead generation, and business development. With over twenty years of leadership experience, Ted has successfully led a number of businesses from start-up to successful exit. One such leadership role includes achieving a rank of 178 on the coveted Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing companies.

In addition, as a passionate entrepreneur, Ted is active in the Durham and Raleigh startup community. He participates as a founding member of Harbright Ventures, a local member-based investment fund, as well as a board member or advisor to several startups.

Ted is also a nationally recognized writer and presenter. He is a past president of the Triangle American Marketing Association (AMA). He currently lives with his wife Shirley and 4 children in Apex, NC.
