We are seeking a dynamic Content Writer to take our company to new heights. Our perfect match possesses an investigative journalist mindset; we need someone that is always thinking of and creating new content that strategically aligns with our brand. Our Content Writer will work on a variety of client-facing projects, serving as a large driving force to help us gain new traction. This individual will also edit and review copy developed through other resources to ensure it matches with our overall direction.
Responsibilites:
- Owning our digital branding and company voice
- Write compelling, engaging content that supports marketing campaigns and other business goals
- Provide insight and recommendations to improve our brand voice, generating ideas for campaigns and strategic direction
- Demonstrating a firm grasp of our value proposition and the needs of the buyer life cycle
- Refreshing content within existing blogs and articles to drive response
- Tailor writing to a variety of audiences through various means including but not limited to e-mails, case studies, blogs, web content, business letters, sales slicks, and more
- Collaborate with larger marketing team by assisting in development and management of digital content
- Developing relationships with outside influencers to inspire additional content that will expand and engage our target audience
- Managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Other related responsibilities, as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years or more experience in copywriting marketing, copy operations, demand generation, and/or campaign management in the B2B space
- Demonstrated outstanding command of the English language; ability to write and edit at an extremely high professional level
- Rock-solid writing and output with demonstrated knowledge of proper business grammar, syntax, and style
- The ability to work independently, without a high level of supervision
- An understanding of how content works with design; and the ability to modify personal style to meet the needs of the business
- Strong understanding of B2B software space and essential content needs
- Excellent proofreading skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Slack, and Google tools
- Experience within the legal and/or legal technology field is preferred, but not required
This role is the perfect fit for someone that wants to “sink their teeth” into all areas of marketing content, eventually growing into a Content Manager role within our organization.
